Travel Insurance Deals
I’m a little ambiguous about travel insurance. On the one hand, as I usually ski at least once a year, it’s a must for the recovery and medical cover. on the other hand my home insurance covers some of my possessions abroad anyway.
I’ve never claimed on it, and I never want to. Actually I could of claimed £20 for an unscheduled overnight hospital stay on a recent climbing trip to Spain, but I just couldn’t be bothered with the forms for that amount. No it wasn’t a climbing injury, just a condition which is commonest in males in their 40’s – lets leave it there.
I guess it’s peace of mind you’re paying for and that brings its own benefits. Ah, just remembered, book travel insurance at the same time as you book your trip, then cancellation problems can be dealt with.
